This work of mine was inspired by Brian, this was one of my first creative digital processing, learning always, I'll never be done learning and that's why I love what I do, thank you Brian |
Brian was my inspiration when I did that piece in Buenos Aires Argentina many years ago, Brian had such an impact on my creativity development, it's hard to express it with word, thank you Brian.
When I decided to get back
to photography in 2006, and
enrolled in an online class with UK School of Photography I had no idea that I
will have such an opportunity, I didn't start the class with Brian, don't
remember the other instructor name, the only things I remember about her were
her harsh remarks, I was going to quit the class when I got an email letting me
know that I was transfer to another instructor, his name Brian Swinyard that change my life, he was a real
inspiration a great motivator and passionate photographer. Brian
helped me in defining my vision, understanding how to transfer it into my
photography, how to let go, to refine my own style!
I wanted to write this post to make him aware of how
important he was in my life and my progression and a better understanding of art
and photography.
Photography became an extension of my vision and
creativity a way to exteriorise and
express who I am and how I feel.
I took the following info about Brian on his own website, an amazing inspirational site,
"An 'Aspirational' Photographer with special interest
in Contemporary, Creative, Travel and Portrait photography.
Brian is regarded in the UK Camera Club Circuit, not
only as a prolific image-maker but also as an inspiration to others. His
photography, which nowadays is exclusively digitally-based, is varied and shows
a great deal of technical expertise, originality and enviable imagination.
He is a member of the Royal Photographic Society
(RPS), Photographic Society of America (PSA), Bureau of Freelance Photographers
(BFP), London Independent Photography (LIP), InScape, SchoolOfPhotography.com
(SOP), Cheltenham Camera Club, Gloucester Camera Club and Smethwick
Photographic Society.
Approximately 1500 of his images have been accepted
(some Medal winners) in National & International Exhibitions & Salons
in Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Caribbean, China, Croatia, Cyprus,
Denmark, England, France, Germany, Holland, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy,
Luxemburg, Macedonia, Portugal, Qatar, Scotland, Serbia, Singapore, Slovenia,
South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, USA and Wales. His work has been
published in In-House and Photography Magazines and Journals."
